“We produce trash, are born from trash, and will turn back into trash” - HA Schult
HA Schult’s incredible work Trash People is an army of 1000 larger than life size soldiers comprised of crushed cans, electronic trash and other waste products of society.
They were first assembled in Xantan in 1996 and since then have travelled the globe from Moscow’s Red Square to Paris, The Great Wall of China and The Pyramids of Giza just to name a few. Their final installation was in the Artic in 2010.
Some go so far to say that Schult’s Trash People are images of ourselves.. Who knew rubbish could be so beautiful
Alejandro Guijarro photographs the chalkboards of some of the brightest minds in quantum physics for his continuing series Momentum. He went to research facilities like CERN and many of the top universities in the world to find them.
